Holiday greetings from my very talented friend’s presentation company…animated completely in PowerPoint. Yes, this is possible with PowerPoint!
When bad slides leak and become news, presentation designers can’t help themselves from redesigning them. And that’s a good thing.
My friends at SlideRabbit took on Sony’s recently leaked slides.
Microsoft has finally killed off Clip Art!
And take a listen to this NPR Interview with Cathy Belleville, one of the lead Clip Art designers.

My awesome friends at SlideRabbit wrote up a really nice explanation of how they recently created an interactive infographic for a client all within PowerPoint. And if you don’t read the whole thing, you can’t whine and say, “But why would you do that in PowerPoint?” (Hint: It’s all about client editability…)
A lot of people (including clients of mine) took note of presentation designer Emiland De Cubber’s slide makeover of Mary Meeker’s deck profiled in Business Week.
It’s good. Take a look.
And a hat tip to IdeaTransplant’s great post on the makeover.
Really nice whiteboard animation—created entirely in PowerPoint using native animation.
