What I love is that the word “Selfie” simply transferred over phonetically with no attempt at contextual translation. The bold uppercase Cyrillic letters repeated on each blue square just sound out “Selfie.” It would have no intrinsic meaning to a Russian speaker other than a random slang word.The opposite analog would be many of the slang terms Burgess used in “A Clockwork Orange” that were English phonetics from Russian.
